Cattlemen's Texas Longhorn Conservancy is a non-profit, public charity. Our mission is to raising public awareness of the value of the Critically Endangered heritage Texas Longhorn cattle and educates future generations about the historical significance of the breed. Our unique conservation efforts include DNA analyses that trace the evolution of and genetically define this heritage breed. We have domestic and international partners in genetic research.
